A local building company is looking for a Contract/Project Manager to oversee their multiple site business.
The succesful candidate will be confident with pre-contract preparation, liaising with the clients and various trades including other professional bodies and, of course, post contract talks to ensure all is correct.
As this is a new role there will be elements of the job that will evolve but essentially the successful applicant will need to run multi sites effectively and efficiently. They will be expected to work using their own initiative and judgment whilst sticking to the company ethos and guidelines. They will be expected to know exactly what is going on at each site and to keep the customer constantly informed. The Director will also expect daily logs/reports.
Technical building knowledge is essential as well as at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role that can be supported by references.
A company vehicle will not be provided for the first 3 months although business mileage will be paid in the form of expenses. A company laptop and mobile phone will be provided for business use.
Salary £25k basic ote £40k
