Across the land there is a bloodletting; a laceration that no quick trip to the chef’s office first aid kit will mend. Alas, a blue plaster doesn’t exist of the size required, but this is our new reality.

We’re not unrealistic, we’re not stupid. We know you can’t run a business or pay wages without guests, diners, revenue. We salute the owners and chefs up and down the land, thinking outside that box.

Below is a presentation we are using in our organisation and one that we thought you'll find useful too. We have collated the information together from the NHS and the WHO (World Health Organisation) and presented in a format which you will hopefully find easy to understand too.

Following some confusion on what to do if you suspect Coronavirus, the purpose of this Toolbox Talk is to clarify the current guidance on the illness.

As we deal with industries where hygiene is of the utmost importance, we thought we'd issue some guidelines around good general care to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

There is plenty of information out there, but distilling it down in to easy to understand advice is what we're aiming to do. So, here's what we've put together for you.

What is the Coronavirus?

COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It's caused by a virus called coronavirus.
