Paramount Personnel are recruiting a Sous Chef for a multi-award winning Hotel and Spa in a stunning coastal location, one of the North coast’s most dramatic beauty spots.
The Kitchen brigade is led by a very talented Head Chef who, with his team of friendly chefs, deliver creative dishes for two superb restaurants and events operation as well as delivering the working hours chefs deserve. The large team serves up to 700 plus covers a day, delivering interesting menus across two different food offerings.
As Sous Chef, you will deliver and supervise the day to day running of the kitchen and inspire the whole brigade to deliver on a consistent basis whilst ensuring the kitchen is a safe and clean working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Making sure the food is prepared and cooked to agreed standards
Play an active role in the daily menu composition and development
Engaging with food suppliers and producers to ensure accurate knowledge
Positive financial performance of the kitchen
