We have an opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Chef de Partie to join a superb hotel. The successful Chef de Partie will join a high flying, dedicated, focused team of chefs and will be given the support to define their skills.
The restaurant offers refined dining offering and our client has a strong company ethos for high employee retention and strongly believe in staff investment and personal development.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for supporting the senior kitchen team with the running of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence. You will be in charge of your own section, and some of your duties will include:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
Managing and training any Demis or Commis working with you
Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Managing waste control to maintain profit margins
Due to its location, you will ideally have your own mode of transport.
