Events Co-ordinator/Social Media/Personal Assistant – Hotel in Devon - £23,000

Paramount Personnel are seeking an events Co-ordinator/Social Media/Personal Assistant for this beautiful hotel in mid Devon.

  • Up tp £23,000 depending on experience

The right person will have at least two years of previous experience and be able to multi-task in order to thrive within a fast paced environment. 

We are looking for a well-presented young professional with an undergraduate degree in hospitality, events or PR and marketing that is interested in furthering their career within the hospitality sector.

You must be well-spoken, have an excellent telephone manner and be able to write professional and polite emails.

Experience with the Microsoft suite is essential, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.

The events typically include, Birthdays, Anniversaries, corporate luncheons/functions, personal/corporate Christmas parties and roughly 20 weddings a year.

Some of your duties will include:

i.To aid the owner with all “wedmin”, as well as on the day wedding and event coordination.
This will entail being responsible for the events email inbox, replying to all initial enquiries, creating quotations and managing the events diary for tours, tastings and the events themselves.
This will also entail responding to lead guest’s of current events on the books.
 
ii.To aid the owner with all social media posts, to respond to social media guest enquiries and to research and reach out to various influencers and members of the press to encourage a positive buzz around Paschoe House.
 
iii.To aid the owner with any additional admin necessary; this may include basic bookkeeping, filing, organising information for meetings, responding to other emails, managing additional diaries, scheduling house maintenance, running errands, pet care, light office housekeeping and organising travel and reservations.
