Junior Sous Chef - £11 per hour – Hotel – Mawgan Porth - Live in
Paramount Personnel are seeking a strong, confident and experienced Junior Sous Chef to assist with the management of a highly regarded kitchen delivering Rosette standard food with a young energetic and dynamic brigade of Chefs.
The successful Junior Sous chef will already have solid experience of working within a high standard brasserie or fine dining establishment. You will have experience of managing kitchens during the absence of the head chef, undertaking the kitchen management tasks such as, ordering, inventory, HACCP, food safety, and performance management with junior members of the brigade.
Managing and training chefs.
Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
