Commercial Light Goods Vehicle Technician – Newton Abbot, Devon

Our client is looking to employ a highly skilled Commercial Light Goods Vehicle Technician to join their business.

Skills Required:

The successful applicant for the Commercial Light Goods Vehicle Technician role needs to be able to do the following:

• Complete comprehensive and preventative maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation.
• Accurate fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms.
• Maximizing your productive time to ensure all KPI’s are achieved.
• Completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner.
• Be able to work on own initiative.
• Carry out all work & repairs in a safe & timely manner exceeding DVLA standards.
• Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
• Not essential but desirable is an NVQ3 and an HGV licence.

Hours of Work & Salary

• Working Monday to Friday
• Temping initially this role may become permanent for the right person
• A competitive salary is offered between £28,500 – £42,000 depending on experience and including call outs.
