Job description:
HGV Roadworkers – Exeter – £13.00 – £13.50 per hour + overtime at overtime rates
As an HGV Roadworker you will be required to carry out, as part of a team, a wide range of road maintenance and construction activities which may include but is not limited to kerbing, slabbing & tarmacing including the operation of power tools, small plant and machinery. This role could include winter maintenance.
You will also need to have responsibility for the health and safety of the public, colleagues and yourself, participate in emergency rosters if required by management and prepare written returns including fault report details as required.
An HGV licence is required and a Streetworks certificate would be advantageous, as would a valid CSCS card and CPC card.
This is a great role with a 40 basic hour week at an excellent hourly rate of £13.00-£13.50 depending upon experience, with overtime paid at 150% for hours over 40, overtime also paid Saturday at 150% and 200% on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
