Paramount Personnel are recruiting for an award winning Hotel in Newquay. The successful Head Chef will ideally have previous experience of conference banqueting, and be a passionate and inspirational individual.

Head Chef responsibilities to include;

• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of chefs.
• Develop exciting and seasonal menus, with a reflection on commitment to quality and local produce.
• Maintain impeccable standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering and cost control.
• Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure a seamless service.

We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef, ideally from a Hotel background.  You will ideally have a comprehensive understanding of culinary techniques, and have a passion for excellent cuisine working with fresh and locally sourced ingredients.

The successful Head Chef will ideally have;

• Previous experience in either a Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef, within a award winning establishment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for food and a desire to deliver exceptional cuisine.
