Paramount Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with an award winning Hotel, in the Braemar area.
Our client are recruiting for a passionate and motivated Junior Sommelier, who understands and has a natural passion for beverages and high end guest service. Working closely under the stewardship of a Head Sommelier, you will be the bridge between our cellar and guests, with a goal of ensuring wine is approachable, exciting and perfectly paired.
Junior Sommelier responsibilities;
- Assist in wine service during busy shifts, ensuring correct glassware, temperatures and decanting techniques.
- Take ownership of stock rotation, deliveries and maintaining a pristine cellar environment.
- Help maintain our wine list, ensuring all vintages and prices are accurate and up-to-date.
- Learn the stories behind our producers and share that magic with guests in a way that is engaging.
- WSET Level 2 or above.
